Who are you?

I’m a Mama, Unleashing Stories. I am not green. I drive a gas-guzzling SUV. I use a generator when I camp to power my air-conditioner and microwave. Survival is not about being green. Survival is about getting what I want. No. Matter. What. I power me. I power my world. Some days it also requires electricity. Every day it requires courage.

Why do you blog?

To remember where I've been, what I've learned, and who I've met.

What is your favorite part of blogging?

I adore learning new things. A lot of my posts start with a question, something new I want to integrate into our lives regarding survival and preparedness (and a way to do it without giving up all the things I love). It's a lot of fun to find an answer, try a new gadget, and share the successes (and frequent failures).

When not blogging you are....OUTSIDE! Camping, snowmobiling, gardening, or playing in the sandbox
